LTX 2.5 makes video from a written prompt or a still. It installs as two repos in one folder, a base pack and a distilled transformer, that load together.

  - Base pack: `mlx-community/ltx-2.5-mlx-q8`, 23.9 GB. The picture decoder, the Gemma-4 text encoder that reads your prompt, the upscalers and the vocoder.
  - Distilled transformer, q8: `mlx-community/ltx-2.5-mlx-ditq8`, 20.6 GB. The part that makes the frames. It installs on top of the base pack and the two load together.
