FLUX Krea T2I

FLUX Krea (also known as FLUX.1 Krea [dev]) is a text-to-image model that produces high fidelity, aesthetically refined visuals from natural language prompts. It is built as a 12-billion parameter rectified flow transformer and distilled from Krea 1 to maintain compatibility with the FLUX.1 [dev] ecosystem. The model emphasizes an “opinionated” visual style, aiming to reduce oversaturated textures, avoid an overly artificial “AI look,” and deliver more natural detail in lighting, skin, and materials. Its design favors artistic consistency and pleasing surprises rather than purely numeric benchmarks. FLUX Krea supports compatibility with downstream tools like LoRA adapters, ControlNets, and frameworks such as ComfyUI and Diffusers. While the open-weight version is released under a non-commercial license, users can obtain commercial licensing through Black Forest Labs’ licensing portal.
