Nano Banana 2 is the text to image mode of Google's Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, built for fast, high volume image generation from natural language prompts. It emphasizes speed and prompt accuracy while still delivering coherent scenes, readable embedded text, flexible aspect ratios, and output resolutions up to 4K. The model brings stronger world knowledge into image generation, which helps produce accurate depictions of real objects, places, and structured visual layouts. Compared with earlier Nano Banana models, it is positioned as the higher throughput option while still producing polished results suitable for marketing visuals, product concepts, storyboards, social assets, and quick design exploration. It is available through the Gemini API and major hosted platforms.
