A montage cut to the music, ducked properly
Cut where the music changes phrase, land the hero shot on the drop, end when the track ends, and duck the bed under your voiceover with a real sidechain.
Build me a ninety second montage in GroundSlate from the Portugal footage in project prj_0a1b2c3d4e, cut to the track beach-day-1a2b3c4d. Cut where the music changes phrase, not on every beat, so it breathes. Put the widest shot on the biggest drop. Finish the edit when the music finishes rather than running into the fade. Show me the cut list against the music map before you render. Then duck the bed under my voiceover at ~/Audio/vo.wav and keep it locked to the picture. 1080x1920, 30fps, and file the finished montage back in the project.
- Cutting on every beat makes a montage feel like a slideshow with music over it. Ask for phrase changes.
- An edit that runs to the end of the file ends on the fade tail, in silence. Ask it to end where the music does.
- The track has to be indexed for its music map to exist, and the voiceover has to sit in a granted folder.
