Work from the laptop, without the big drives

One setting limits your agent to footage on the drives connected right now.

In GroundSlate, only use footage on drives that are plugged in right now, then show me what that leaves me in project prj_0a1b2c3d4e.

Paste it into any MCP client

Turn it on when you travel. Anything that needs a drive left at home stops with a clear reason.
Turn it off when you are back, and searches include the offline footage again. A clip on an unplugged drive cannot open either way; the setting only changes what shows up in results.
It applies to the whole Mac, so every client sees the same library while it is on.
